While I’m horrible with tutorials because honestly, I can’t explain anything when it comes to Photoshop, I thought I’d release these three graphics so you guys get a better picture of how I -try- (emphasize try) to do things! (Bear in mind these .psds are not complete/from start-to-beginning though; I tend to merge pictures after a certain stage, but I’m planning to upload a tut video again so hopefully that should clear stuff up.) Please like or reblog if you’re downloading them so that way I know if I should continue to do this in the future! Enjoy~

Since it’s been a while (a really long while) I thought I’d start off with a small texture pack and then go big again; thus, here are 15 assorted textures! I wanted to try something a little new, so if you have any comments or feedback, by all means let me know so I know what to work on in the future! Credit, while not required, would be lovely :)

Whohoo! So I finally got off my lazy butt and decided to make a video rather than an actual ‘tutorial’ because to be honest, I don’t really go into photoshop with a focused plan of what I’m going to do. So rather than that, I just thought i’d show you all a bit of my ~mind processing~ and how I kind of fit the images together on a canvas rather than just bluntly telling you what to do, since Photoshop is a creative process rather than just a bunch of steps and rules.
I’ll be adding more links later on, along with a DL to the video itself. Please note that the video is 3x faster than what it actually seems like; the entire video would have to be 2 hours long if I processed it in real time, so if you can’t read the notes, or if I go too fast for you, you can stop/pause the video and go frame by frame to get a better idea of what I’m doing.

Sorry about the long wait, once again- this time, I’d like to mention a little something before doing the usual stuff.
I do not make textures for profit or because I am just one of those people who have too much free time on their hands. I make textures because I like to inspire people (including myself), and make the graphics community a happier place. So please, do not keep whining that I don’t make enough. I try my best. Making textures is a hobby that we texture-makers have a lot of pleasure in doing, and thus we do it in our own free time. A reason why I kept delaying my set was because people kept annoying me with demands and as much as I am happy to help people and give as much help as I can offer, there is a limit to everything. I felt like that was breached sometime between this set’s release and the previous, so I’ll say it again: DO NOT WHINE FOR ME TO MAKE MORE. I will make more when I am not swamped with rl work, or when I simply feel like it.
That said, here are some new textures for everyone to use. Like usual, credit is not necessary but is appreciated, and please let me know how they are! Feedback is really crucial to making more, so. :)

Ah, since I’ve been getting a lot of requests for either textures (which unfortunately I don’t have much of a motivation to do anymore as there are so many being produced by the week and I don’t have much time on my hands- but I will try to release another one soon!) or .psds/tutorials, I thought I’d go with the latter. Please bear in mind, the most important rule of thumb when it comes to tutorials and especially Photoshop in general, as Photoshop is a bipolar sun of a gun that does what It pleases- don’t follow this step by step. Experiment. That’s honestly the most important advice you can leave with today after you read my clutter of an attempt in showing you how I tend to make my graphics.
